Charlotte Metro Cover Page: Soccer Education and Community

Today we’re going to be taking an in-depth look at another member of the Carolina Champions League: Charlotte Metro FC. Charlotte Metro was founded by Carolina Champions League Technical Committee Member and former professional player Daniel Araujo and John Pietak. Armed with a mission of providing an alternative to pay-to-play youth soccer, the two have grown Charlotte Metro FC into a club with 16 youth teams and amenities both on and off the field for disadvantaged youth in the Charlotte area. Their focus on both player development as well as character development is a boon to the Charlotte area and its youth.
